McGraw-Hill brings together Flipped Class Author/Educator and Tegrity Users to Discuss the use of Lecture Capture and Other Techniques in Flipped Teaching
In June of this year, I had the privilege of moderating an online panel discussion with several college professors who using a flipped instruction approach in their classes. The discussion was arranged by McGraw-Hill and featured Dr. Danae Quirk-Dorr of Minnesota State University, Jeff Anderson from Ohio University and William Hoover of Bunker Hill Community College.
We had a great conversation in Google Hangouts and there were over 1,600 potential participants registered to watch the dialogue. Viewers submitted lots of great questions during the online conversation, and we reviewed and responded to most of them after we discussed topics including some of the benefits of the flip, issues that can arise, what instructors need to know, approaches to the technology, and how it can make you more effective as an instructor.
