Hello! My name is Kelly Walsh. I am the CIO at The College of Westchester in White Plains, NY, where I also teach as a member of Faculty of Administration. In 2009, I founded the popular website EmergingEdTech.com, where I write regularly about engaging students and enhancing learning outcomes through the use of emerging Internet and instructional technologies. In 2016, I joined the Flipped Learning Network as Community Administrator.
Since 2011, I’ve been raising awareness of flipped instruction tools and techniques, and introducing the concept to educators across the world, through articles on EmergingEdTech.com and more recently on this web site, in presentations at conferences and schools across the U.S., and through online workshops. I’ve helped many teachers make the transition to flipped instruction. As of 2016, with my role over at the Flipped Learning Network, I am focusing my efforts there and will not be doing much new here on FlippedClassroomWorkshop for the foreseeable future. I hope you will follow my work on EmergingEdTech.com and stop by FlippedLearning.org to continue your flipped learning journey!
