This week and last, I put together a 2 part articles series on flipping the ipad equipped classroom. More and more schools are putting iPad programs in place (there’s a great series of articles on this from Franklin Academy Principal David Mahaley on EmergingEdTech). As the iPad proliferates in education, more and more teachers are considering how to leverage the iPad in flipped teaching and learning.
In the first half of this two-part article, we explored Finding and Creating Digital Learning Content, Delivering & Consuming Learning Content, and Ensuring Content Consumption. In part two, we consider how to use class time, reinforcing learning, assessment, and lastly – tools for organization and productivity.
I am looking forward to next month’s Teaching and Learning with the iPad summit in North Carolina (Nov 15th and 16th). After the conference I’ll be expanding on these articles and sharing more of what I’ve learned while talking with the many educators who will be attending, and participating in the wonderful sessions being offered.
